Adam Simeon

Co-founder  & Vice President

Reggae One Love Movement co-convener Adam Simeon caught the reggae bug in the mid-1980’s and has been in love with it ever since. From collecting records he got into college radio and had two other radio shows for many years. Today he has a weekly 5-hour reggae DJ session in its fourth year. He has one of the largest collections of Imperial Ethiopian photos and artifacts and his collection includes Reggae and Rastafari materials as well. As one of the members of Reggae Ambassadors Worldwide, Adam loved the idea of linking up all the fellow reggae experts of every scene across America and the world. Every town has a person who knows all the bands, radio shows, clubs, record shops, eateries, etc and to connect them all together in a network was a powerful idea. Bands that wanted to tour, a producer with a record to put out, a traveler heading to a new city had the contacts for all things reggae in their club directory.  Combining the reggae networking with charitable works assisting aged and needy reggae veterans and others is a perfect marriage in Adam‘s mind. While his busy schedule doesn’t leave a ton of time right now, he’s blessed to play any role he can assist in forwarding this work.
